soft-spoken pot-smokin' with the broken-down girls

This is what it looks like when I am avoiding my senior thesis:

A meme! Made up by [livejournal.com profile] kittiec, snagged from [livejournal.com profile] walkawayslowly:

I'd like to know everyone's top ten most played songs in iTunes (or the music player of your choice). The format should be:

#. "Title," Singer/Group, Album (# of plays).

Let me lead into this by saying that a) I often unironically enjoy truly atrocious music; b) Speechwriters LLC is fucking awesome; and c) those two Timbaland songs are totally [livejournal.com profile] notthequiettype's fault. She's a ho. I literally listened to them on repeat for an entire night last summer while I was writing my [livejournal.com profile] spn_harlequin fic.
1. blood on the frets -- speechwriters llc, clones ep (163)
2. devil's door -- slightly stoopid, acoustic roots (140)
3. dream on -- depeche mode, exciter (121)
4. something about us -- daft punk, discovery (105)
5. bounce -- timbaland, shock value (102)
6. give it to me -- timbaland, shock value (97)
7. bullet and a target -- citizen cope, the clarence greenwood recordings (93)
8. in the air tonight -- phil collins, hits (93)
9. ms. jackson -- outkast, stankonia (91)
10. cover this -- dispatch, gut the van (89)
11. drive -- melissa ferrick, freedom (84)

There are eleven there, not ten -- I do indeed realize this. That's because I wanted to upload my top ten, but I paid actual money for my Citizen Cope album on iTunes, so I can't upload that one for you. You should totally give Citizen Cope a try, though; he's awesome.

Anyway! Download here:

Okay, maybe a little thesis reading now. SIGH.
